Muslims do a lot of sins in their lives because they are humans. And prophet Muhammad PBUH said “every son of adam is a sinner but the best beloved is those who ask for forgiveness from Allah. Here Are the steps to do it and erase all sins.

1. You should be sorrowful of sins. and believe that your sins made Allah angry. you followed satan (Shaitan). And forgot the presence of Allah and his knowledge. it’s not worth it for humans that ignore his own creator and turn to rebel.
2. Commit that these huge bundles of sins the only one who can erase them before a second is Allah almighty. He is so merciful and forgiver that he says “يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ تُوبُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ تَوْبَةًۭ نَّصُوحًا عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمْ أَن يُكَفِّرَ عَنكُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْ وَيُدْخِلَكُمْ جَنَّـٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ” “O believers! Turn to Allah in sincere repentance, so your Lord may absolve you of your sins and admit you into Gardens, under which rivers flow”
3. Ask forgiveness in your own words in any language. Or you can use prophet Muhammad’s words “أستغفر الله وأتوب إليه ” “I seek forgiveness from Allah & repent to him”. Note: It’s better to say these words 100 times a day.
4. Promise Allah that you will leave all sins instantly, and not do the sins intentionally in the future. You will offer prayers and be close to Allah.
