- There is no specific limit for the menses duration, but the common period for a regular woman is six or seven days.
- In the case of postnatal bleeding, there is no limit for the last time for the blood to cease, and at most it does not exceed forty days. So if a woman completes forty days, she should take a full shower and start praying, even if the blood is still coming out. She needs to make fresh ablution – wudu’ – for every prayer.
