To testify that “La ilaha illal-lah”: to testify “there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone”.

All acts of worship are to be directed sincerely to Allah, the Exalted, alone without associating any partners with Him. And to negate and deny all the false deities worshiped besides Allah.

Allah the Exalted said: (And verily, We have sent among every nation a Messengers (proclaiming) worship Allah alone, and avoid Taghut (false deities)) (The Noble Qur’an 16:36)
